The Port of Gdynia Authority SA in Poland has launched a request for qualifications (RFQ) seeking private partner for development of Outer Port in the Port of Gdynia. The contract includes the design, construction, financing, equipment, and then maintenance and operation, during the contract period, of the Outer Port pier, where the container terminal will be located, with the pre-assumed target capacity of 2, 5 million TEU per year.
The scope of works includes dredging works in the area of the fairways to the Port of Gdynia. The dredged material collected from the dredging works area will be dredged at the site of the planned pier of the Outer Port. The scope of the project also includes land access infrastructure by road and rail, with the Public Entity responsible for its construction from the land side to the terminal gates.
