The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) in USA has issued a Request for Qualification (RFQ) seeking a partnership through execution of a Facilities Lease/Concession Agreement with a private entity to undertake the development and long-term operation of its two bus terminals/park & ride lots located in Portsmouth and Dover. Portsmouth and Dover are cities located in the US state of New Hampshire. The existing bus terminals in Portsmouth and Dover are 18 years old and 10 years old respectively, and have increasing maintenance and operating costs, increased capital costs for building improvements and security systems, as well as the need for expanded parking.
Scope of work includes the development of fee-based car parking, Staffing the terminal buildings and keeping them open to the public a minimum of 16 hours per day weekdays, Establishing accessibility standards and procedures for public transit providers and Management of advertising and concessions within the terminal buildings among many other things.
The deadline to submit the response is August 16, 2019.
