The government of the Ministry of Finance in Argentina has issued an RFQ calling for bids for the construction of the Extra High Voltage Line at 500 kV ET Rio Diamante - New ET Charlone, Transforming Stations and works complementary in 132 kV. The project includes the development of extra high voltage line at 500 kV between Rio Diamante and New ET Charlone, Transforming Stations and works complementary in 132 kV. This project in Argentina includes construction, operation, and maintenance of the high voltage line and complementary works.
Five 132 kV subtransmission lines will link the new transformer station Coronel Charlone 500/132 kV with the provincial sub-transmission systems. In the previous round of the consultation period held at the end of last year, more than 50 stakeholders participated in the published pre-bid documents. The terms provide for 3 months for the preparation of bids and the award for early July. The contract will have a duration of 15 years and is divided into two stages: a) construction, which ends with the commercial authorization of the work) and its subsequent operation and maintenance.
