The Houston Airport System has sought Statements of Qualifications from experienced and qualified firms to design and build an aircraft hangar, educational facility wing, vehicle parking, driveway aprons, and landscaping at Ellington Airport (EFD), Houston, Texas, USA.
The main service scope revolves around erecting a fresh Aircraft Hangar and Educational Facility Wing, along with a concrete apron, an above-ground fuel tank and dispenser, parking, landscaping, exterior lighting, and fencing. The Design-Build Contractor will hold the position of the principal overseer for the EFD TSU Flight Academy Project, acting as the "Prime Contractor." This encompasses Design Services, permitting, supervision, testing, inspection, integration, commissioning of system components, and coordination with an external commissioning services provider for integrated systems testing, information technology, systems integration, activation, compliance with regulatory requisites, and the eventual project closure.
