The Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has issued the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) looking for an engineering consultancy firm to provide supervision and contract management for Independent Strategic Water Reservoir Projects (ISWR) and Independent Water Transmission Pipeline Projects (IWTP).
Both ISWR and IWTP projects are currently in the process of Project Agreements signing execution or the financial closure phase. The projects are located in the various regions of Saudi Arabia and will be developed on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer basis (BOOT) by a project company. Construction of the 1st Reservoir and 1st transmission pipeline with associated facilities is scheduled to begin in 2023, and commercial operation is expected towards the end of 2025.
