RFQ issued for Ontario Line North

Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Metrolinx have issued two Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Ontario Line North segment in Toronto, Canada.

The North segment will be delivered through four packages of work, two smaller early works contracts and two major works contracts: 

  1. Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations contract: 3 km of twin tunnels underneath Pape Avenue, 2 underground stations, 3 emergency exit buildings, a rail switch in the section of tunnel and Interface with line 2 TTC subway;
  2. Elevated Guideway and Stations contract: 3 km of an elevated guideway, 5 elevated stations, 1 emergency exit building and 2 interfaces one with the maintenance and storage facility and another where Ontario Line trains will operate.

Interested bidders are requested to register with www.merx.com to download the RFQs. The response to the Request for Proposals is anticipated in early 2023.
