The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has extended the deadline of the request for qualification (RFQ) seeking a private partner for the AirTrain LaGuardia PPP project. The project will be a 2.3-mile (3.7 km) elevated automated fixed guideway transit system that will provide access to LaGuardia Airport for users. It will also have a direct connection between the Airport’s Terminals B and C and the region’s existing mass transit system.
The new deadline for interested teams to provide details of their intended electronic platform is May 13, 2021.
While the SOQ deadline has been changed to May 18, 2021.
