The New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District (NASED) in the state of Hawaii, USA has extended the deadline to submit the qualifications for the project to May 12, 2020. The project involves the development of a new 35,000 seat multi-purpose stadium and integrated entertainment district in Honolulu, Hawaii. The project will be implemented as a public-private partnership (PPP) on a design, build, finance maintain (DBFM) basis.
The project has received huge interest from private developers. The industry day held online was attended by over 200 companies. After the submission of the qualifications, the authority will select three bidders to submit the proposals for the project. The authority is expecting to award the contract in the first quarter of 2021 and complete the construction works for the stadium until September 2023.
