New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) has sought qualified proposals for the disposition and development by an anchor tenant of an approximately 160,000 sq ft shed space and approximately 55,970 sq ft open space on Pier 11 in Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York City, USA.

The lease for the Site allows for various activities such as light manufacturing, industrial warehousing, distribution, commercial maritime operations, offshore wind innovation and R&D. These activities are in compliance with the M2-1 zoning regulations. The Site is part of NYCEDC's PortNYCgroup, which encompasses a range of transportation infrastructure across the five boroughs, such as marine cargo terminals, rail facilities, cruise terminals, ferry landings, DockNYC sites, and aviation facilities.

The chosen party will likely receive a chance to utilize the site through a long-term sublease, initially lasting for ten years with two additional renewal options of ten years each and one option of two to five years, resulting in a total term of 32-35 years.

The submission deadline is August 10, 2023. More information about this tender could be found on our Business Opportunity page here.
