RFP seeking technical consultant for Côte d'Ivoire to Liberia transmission line
West African Power Pool (WAPP) has launched a request for proposal (RFP) seeking a technical consultant for Côte d'Ivoire -Liberia Interconnection project.
The 650 km long 250 kV transmission line will connect Buchanan, Liberia to San Pedro, Ivory Coast. The transmission line will create more direct access to the clean energy generation resources in both countries and will increase the reliability and stability of power exchanges between Côte d'Ivoire, Liberia and beyond. The technical consultant will be responsible for conducting a feasibility study for the project including a route survey, as well as identifying a suitable right-of-way for the entire length of the transmission line with detailed land surveys, maps and drawings.
