City and County of Los Angeles in the USA has launched a request for proposal (RFP) seeking private developers for the redevelopment of the civic center located on the south side of Santa Monica Boulevard between Corinth and Butler Avenues in West Los Angeles. The civic center houses city and county offices, police station, public library, and courthouse. The scope of works involves development of affordable housing; public open space; reduced traffic through Transit-Oriented Development; improved bicycle and pedestrian amenities; expanded parking facilities; and neighborhood-serving retail.
The deadline to submit the proposal for the project is August 11, 2020.
