REC Power Development and Consultancy has launched 5 Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to deliver 5 Inter-State transmission projects in Gujarat, India. The selected private partner will deliver the transmission scheme through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process and will be responsible for the construction, operation and transfer (BOOT) of the assets.
The energy projects are as follows:
- Transmission scheme for evacuation of 4.5 GW RE injection at Khavda P.S under Phase-II-Part A;
- Transmission scheme for evacuation of 4.5 GW RE injection at Khavda P.S under Phase-II-Part B;
- Transmission scheme for evacuation of 4.5 GW RE injection at Khavda P.S under Phase-II-Part C;
- Transmission scheme for evacuation of 4.5 GW RE injection at Khavda P.S under Phase-II-Part D;
- Transmission Network Expansion in Gujarat associated with the integration of RE projects from Khavda potential RE zone.
