RFP launched for Long Beach Parking Management Suite PPP

The City of Long Beach in New York, USA has launched a request for proposal (RFP) seeking private developers to finance, build, operate and deliver the Parking Management System Suite (PMSS) project.

The PMSS project includes the development of five components, which will be hosted by the Vendor and fully integrated in real-time:

  1. Parking meter kiosks (pay-by-plate configuration);
  2. Pay-by-app/smartphone;
  3. A digital parking permit management system where a vehicle’s license plate will act as the parking permit;
  4. An enforcement system consisting of vehicle-mounted license plate readers (LPR), handheld LPR, and ticket writers;
  5. A citation management system.
