RFP launched for Downtown Versailles regeneration PPP
The city of Versailles in Kentucky, USA has launched a request for proposal (RFP) seeking a private partner to revitalize downtown Versailles. The private partner will undertake multiple development projects under the design, build, finance, operation, and maintenance (DBFOM) procurement model.
The private partner will be responsible for :
- Refurbish a historic building from a police station into a restaurant and bar, tourism center, and office space;
- Build an outdoor performance venue and event space;
- Build a water feature that incorporates the site’s bourbon history;
- Connect the Project Site with downtown Versailles, Big Spring Park, and the surrounding neighborhoods;
- Improve the downtown infrastructure;
- Other innovative ideas for revitalizing downtown Versailles with a focus on tourism and community.
