Macon-Bibb County in Georgia, USA, has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking a private partner for the use of the county-owned broadband assets.
The selected private partner will be granted the use of the County´s 27 route miles of fiber-optic cable with the additional possibility of providing high-speed internet and other advanced IP‐based services to the businesses, institutions and residents of the county.
