The Village of Ruidoso has launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) to interested developers for the expansion of the broadband network in the village located in New Mexico, USA.
The project involves the expansion of existing infrastructure, construction of new infrastructure, deployment, as well as operations and maintenance of a broadband network to provide internet service to all homes and businesses (premises) throughout the area. Authority will commit up to US$2 million of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds as a public match to supplement private investment towards addressing areas of need and to ensure that internet connectivity is available for residents and visitors, to facilitate economic growth, education, healthcare, and public safety.
