RFP launched for bridge project in Massachusetts

The city of Biloxi in Massachusetts, USA has launched a request for proposal (RFP) seeking private developer for a new fixed span Popps Ferry Bridge located in Biloxi. The concessionaire will be responsible for funding, design, construction, operation, and maintenance for the project.

The services to be provided are as following :

  • Public-Private Partnership (P3) Funding plan for design, right-of-way, permitting, construction, and long term operations and maintenance;
  • Design and preparation of construction drawings and specifications;
  • Right-of-way acquisition including relocation;
  • All environmental and construction permitting;
  • Project construction;
  • Long term operations and maintenance
