RFP issued to shortlisted firms for Dhaka-Sylher road project in Bangladesh

Asian Development Bank has shortlisted six teams and invited them to participate in the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Dhaka-Sylher corridor road project in Bangladesh.

The tender is for the selection of an advisor to provide consulting services for the supervision of civil works and safeguard activities. The consulting service's budget is estimated at US$32 million. The project involves the improvement of approximately 210 kilometers Dhaka-Sylhet section of the existing National Highway No. 2, by redeveloping from a two-lane road into four lanes. The selected teams are following:

  • Joint venture between Intercontinental Consultants & Technocrats Pvt. Ltd., IRD Engineering S.R.L., and Sheladia Associates, Inc. in association with Associates For Development Services Limited, GEM Consultants Ltd., and KS Consultants Limited.
  • Joint venture between Roughton International Ltd, BETS Consulting Services Ltd., PADECO Co., Ltd., and YUKSEL PROJE A.S. in association with Delight Engineers & Consultants Ltd., JPZ Consulting (Bangladesh) Ltd., and MAS Bangla Consulting Ltd.
  • Joint venture between STUP Consultants P. Limited, Korea Engineering Consultants Corp., and Lea Associates South Asia Private Limited in association with SODEV Consult International Limited, STRATEGI Consulting Company Ltd., and desh upodesh ltd
  • Joint venture between Meinhardt (Singapore) Pte Ltd, Consulting Engineers Group Ltd, DOLSAR Engineering Inc. Co., and Kyong Dong Engineering Co., Ltd. in association with E.Gen Consultants Ltd., JPZ Consulting (Bangladesh) Ltd., and desh upodesh ltd
  • Joint venture between Korea Expressway Corporation, ACE Consultants Limited, Korea Consultants International Co., Ltd, Pyunghwa Engineering Consultants Ltd., and SMEC International Pty Ltd in association with Nippon Koei Bangladesh Ltd. and SARM Associates Limited
  • Joint venture between BOTEK Bosphorus Technical Consulting Corp., SA Infrastructure Consultants Pvt. Ltd., and Technital S.p.A in association with E.Gen Consultants Ltd. and Maxwell Stamp Limited

The deadline to submit the proposals is September 27, 2021.
