The Department of Transportation of Pennsylvania (PennDOT) through US rail operator Amtrak has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to the lone shortlisted bidder for the development of Middletown Station project in Middletown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
In October 2018, Keystone Connections, the sole prequalified bidder has failed to submit a final response to PennDOT that extended the awarding of a contract for the project. Keystone Connections, a consortium comprising Cedarwood Development, Star America Capital Advisor, Raudenbush Engineering, JEM Group, U.S. Facilities and Walker Parking Consultants/Engineers was prequalified in early 2017.
The Middletown Station improvement P3 project includes the development, design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of parking facilities at Middletown Station, and construction, financing and maintenance of a pre-designed extension to a street-level station approach and pre-designed pedestrian bridge.
