Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, USA, has issued Request for proposals (RFP) seeking private developers for the development of Transit-oriented parkway corridor in Las Vegas. The overall goal of the Maryland Parkway Corridor Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Plan is to provide a framework to identify and plan fixed-guideway transit station areas with the greatest potential for TOD. The Maryland Parkway Corridor study area extends from Sahara Avenue through downtown Las Vegas to the Medical District.
Investments in multimodal transportation infrastructure could improve mobility along the corridor for motorists, transit riders, bicyclists and pedestrians that will enhance access to the surrounding areas. This project will be funded by Federal funds.
The deadline to submit the response to RFP is July 16, 2019.
