RFP issued for West Ocala affordable housing PPP project
The City of Ocala and the Ocala Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) have issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the development of affordable housing PPP project in West Ocala, Florida.
The city requests interested companies to submit proposals and qualifications for consideration in the selection for West Ocala Community Redevelopment Subarea Property Disposal for the Construction of Affordable Housing project. The houses have to meet the requirements of the Ocala Code of Ordinances Chapter 106, Article 4 – Affordable Housing (Exhibit A).
The selected partner will construct single-family homes on the undeveloped lots in the West Ocala Community Redevelopment Subarea. The city will sell the lots and enter into agreements with the partner for the sale or lease of these houses. In total, there are 28 undeveloped lots.
