The New Terminal One has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for the supply and operation of a fleet of all-electric ground service equipment (GSE) at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York, USA.

All airlines will share ground service equipment at a common-use terminal, comprising portable ground power units, mobile baggage conveyors, baggage carts, tugs, and aircraft steps. Charging stations will be positioned at each gate to accommodate an entirely electric ground service equipment fleet. The effective functioning of ground service equipment is vital for on-time flight loading and readiness. The contract is slated for a five-year duration, featuring two additional renewal options, each spanning two years, allowing for a potential overall term of up to nine years.

Proposals are due on April 22, 2024. Additional details regarding this tender can be accessed through our Business Opportunity page here.
