The Green Line Board has issued the Request for Proposals (RFP) to select a proponent to design, construct and finance Phase 1, from Shepard to Eau Claire, of the Green Line Phase 1 light rail transit (LRT) project in Calgary, Canada.
The RFP was released to the two proponent teams, these are as follows:
The selected team will be responsible for the development of the Green Line, comprising an 18 km 14-station LRT system in Canada. The first stage requires the construction of eight major bridges and four tunnels, including a 4 km tunnel under the city center, from 20 Avenue N to Macleod Trail.
Metrolinx and the Toronto Transit Commission have selected Ferrovial, in consortium with VINCI Construction to deliver Southern Civil, Stations and Tunnel on the Ontario Line in Toronto, Canada.
