The Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has issued a request for proposal (RFP) to shortlisted consortia for two independent sewage treatment plants located in Buraidah station (second phase) and Tabuk station (second phase).
The shortlisted consortia are as follows:
The Tabuk project includes the financing, engineering, procurement, construction, implementation, ownership, operation, maintenance and transfer of Tabuk 2 Independent Sewage Treatment Plants (ISTP) in the city of Tabuk in north-western Saudi Arabia. The ultimate capacity of this ISTP will be 90,000 m3/day.
The Buraydah project includes the financing, engineering, procurement, construction, implementation, ownership, operation, maintenance and transfer of Buraydah 2 Independent Sewage Treatment Plants (ISTP) in the city of Buraydah in north-central Saudi Arabia, approximately 400 km from Riyad. The ultimate capacity of this ISTP will be 150,000 m3/day.
