RFP issued for Development and Operation of Modern Urban Terminal in Mauritius

The Ministry of Local Government and Disaster Risk Management has invited proposals from promoters having the necessary experience, expertise and resources for the development and operation of a modern Urban Terminal at La Vigie, Curepipe, Mauritius.

The La Vigie, Curepipe Urban Terminal, as a major transport hub, will be a landmark mixed-use development in the town centre. This project aims to revitalize the area, improve its image with modern building designs, and upgrade public spaces. It will feature enhanced pedestrian, cyclist, and disabled access, promoting efficient land use, seamless public transport, and improved highway infrastructure. The terminal is set to play a key role in transforming the town's infrastructure and public realm.

Prospective Applicants may submit their proposals either on their own or jointly with other firms or parties. The nature of any existing or intended partnership or joint venture arrangement/consortium shall be specified at the time of submitting the proposal, and a letter of agreement or intent signed by all participating parties in the partnership or joint venture, under the seal of an attorney shall be submitted together with the promoter’s proposal.
