The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Programmatic General Engineering Consultant Services for the I-495 & I-270 P3 Program. This involves improvements to two major road corridors in the National Capital Region of the USA - the Interstate Highway 495 (I-495) from south of the American Legion Bridge in Virginia to east of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and along I-270 from I-495 to I-70 including the I-270 east and west spurs - to be developed for delivery as a public-private partnership (P3).
The selected proponent will provide comprehensive engineering and support services for the I-495 & I-270 P3 Program from planning and development, through solicitation, and into final design and construction.
