RFI launched for critical infrastructure PPP at Camp Pendleton

The Department of the Navy (DON) in the USA has launched a Request for Information (RFI) seeking industry feedback on implementing critical energy and water infrastructure resiliency projects aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in California.

The authority requests potential long-term partnerships to plan, design, construct and operate facilities, which could include, but are not limited to: 

  • Energy generation, transmission, and storage;
  • Microgrid configurations, technologies, and controls;
  • Water desalination, drought mitigation, Indirect Potable Reuse, stormwater management, brine/ wastewater treatment, purification, and distribution;
  • Reuse or alternative use of decommissioned energy infrastructure;
  • High-speed fiber communications;
  • Data Centers;
  • Residential, Commercial, or Industrial purposes.
