Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD), in partnership with Loup Public Power District, Platte County, and South Central Public Power District have launched a Request for Information (RFI) for the development of broadband network in Rural Nebraska and the communities located throughout. RFI will explore the creation of a reliable, high-speed, broadband network designed to meet the connectivity needs (hereinafter referred to as e-Connectivity) of public power, local political subdivisions, private Internet service providers (ISPs), precision agriculture, “Smart City” applications and Internet of Things (IoT) network providers.
