East County Advanced Water Purification in San Diego County, California has launched a request for information (RFI) seeking private partner to participate in a market sounding for biogas energy recovery facilities from East County Advanced Water Purification (AWP) plant located in El Cajon. The selected partner will either develop a combined heat and power (CHP) or energy recovery facilities that will use biogas from the anaerobic digesters at solids handling facility.
The RFI aims to identify parties interested in being involved in the delivery of the Energy Recovery project as well as obtain input from the industry for ways define the best option for the project and identify specific implementation, packaging and material risk issues associated with the project.
