The University of Arkansas in the USA has issued a request for information (RFI) seeking private developers for the University of Arkansas Plaza mixed-use project in Little Rock. The project development involves work in two areas, the main development area includes the shopping center which sits on the North East corner of Asher Avenue and University Avenue and currently houses a combination of leased commercial space and University offices. The optional development areas are adjacent to the University Plaza Shopping Center that could be potential areas for either a sports complex or University services building or Procurement Services Building and Parking Lot 3.
The authority is seeking to gather information on potential future strategic opportunities related to a public-private partnership for the project. The deadline to submit the response to the RFI is January 30, 2020.
