International Finance Corporation (IFC) has launched two requests for expression of interest (RFEOI) seeking a general and technical consultant for the COVID - 19 response program in South Asia. Under this program, IFC will provide capacity building support and advice to governments to effectively engage the private sector in areas such as enhancing COVID-19 testing services, increasing availability of critical care, and other types of hospital beds and isolation facilities to treat COVID-19 patients, etc. The program will be implemented in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The general consultant will be responsible for conducting primary and secondary research, developing reports and specifications within the ambit of their work, assisting in researching the latest trends in COVID-19 pandemic globally, providing advise on developing a strategy to reopen commercial activities for client governments post lockdown, advise on developing MIS dashboard and information technology framework among other tasks.
