The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)/Radio-Canada has issued a Request for Expressions of Interest and Qualifications (RFEOIQ) for the redevelopment and commercial property management services for the Main Floor of the Toronto Broadcast Centre (TBC). The centre contains studios, technical crew, post production and graphic design facilities, equipment rentals, broadcast and maintenance services and a design consulting service.
The scope of the redevelopment could include finance, design, build and operations of the Main Floor, entrances and exterior facades and signage.
Private parties are invited to analyze, propose and execute a redevelopment and tenant strategy that provides CBC/Radio-Canada with the best return on investment and value creation for the TBC using a model that is sufficient to fund the project.
Responses must be received before 17 October 2018. CBC/Radio-Canada intend to invite the top two ranked respondents to proceed to the Request for Proposals (RFP) stage of the tender.
