RFEOI seeking consultant for R1251 Road Section PPP project between Mueda and Nambungale

The Republic of Mozambique has launched a Request for Expression of Interest (RFEOI) seeking a technical consultant for the R1251 road section concession.

The project involves the rehabilitation and degradation of 59 km long R1251 Road Section connecting Mueda and Nambungale with the 5.4 km long Mueda Town Bypass in Cabo Delgado Province. The road rehabilitation project is part of the SADC Sub Regional Transport and Trade Facilitation program and is being financed by African Development Bank (AfDB).

The technical consultant will provide Design Review and Supervision Services for the Civil Works Contract execution, and will also ensure that the construction works are completed within the contract budget and timeframe to the specified quality. The consultancy period is 36 months.
