The World Bank in the USA has issued a request for expression of interest seeking a technical consultant for the Preliminary Viability Assessment of Private Participation for the Maintenance of the Inland Waterways in Brazil. The technical consultant will encompass the pre-feasibility of implementing a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) or concession scheme, for maintenance, operation, and improvements of inland waterways in Brazil. The evaluation shall be based on international standards and best practices, as well as on the review of current papers, data sources, current research and experience related to Brazil's situation and capacity in the sector.
