The World Bank Group has issued a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) seeking a legal consultant for a market study of city Utilities in the water, MSW, and district heating Sectors in the ECA Region. The assignment involves works in Georgia, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
The consultant will conduct a review of legal frameworks and regulations relevant to Public-Private Partnerships (PPP)s, subnational financing and private investments in the MSW, water and wastewater and DH sectors; and a market mapping analysis of city utilities (public and private) in focus countries and cities to identify potential IFC investment opportunities in each country.
