The World Bank Group in the USA has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) seeking a technical consultant to support the adaptation of transport sector governance of Sao Paulo to the future of mobility.
The main objective of consultant is to advise the authorities of the Municipal Government of Sao Paulo with a series of recommendations and alternatives for a new institutional arrangement, covering the entire transport sector and the most populated parts of the metropolitan area, allowing citizens to profit from improved efficient institutions, better coordinated, that support innovation and use new technologies, providing the first step towards changing the way Sao Paulo moves, shifting towards implementing the Mobility as a Service initiative and creating a more sustainable, efficient, safe and inclusive transport and mobility systems in the Metropolitan area.
