RFEOI launched for technical consultant for energy efficiency study in Western Balkans

The World Bank Group has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) seeking technical consultant to perform Residential Energy Efficiency Market Assessment in six Balkan countries namely Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Kosovo.

The scope of works involves :

  • Conduct a market assessment of the residential EE building sector in the six Western Balkan countries;
  • Conduct gaps analysis on residential EE, including technical, regulatory, institutional, behavioral, financing, pricing and other aspects
  • Develop customized EE financing mechanisms
  • Drawing on international and regional best practices, develop a set of recommendations for national-level programs to deliver high impact results in the residential sector
