The government of Victoria in Australia has launched a call for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the South Geelong to Waurn Ponds Duplication Project. The Project is the next stage of investment on the Geelong Line that will upgrade infrastructure between South Geelong and Waurn Ponds to enable more frequent and reliable services for passengers. The Project is expected to consist of track duplication and signaling upgrades between South Geelong and Waurn Ponds, upgrades at South Geelong and Marshall stations, and grade separations at Surf Coast Highway and Fyans Street.
