The Government of Mauritius and its development partner, Kukuza Project Development Company (KPDC), have launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) for the development of the International Retirement City PPP project.

The project aims to create a new residential concept in retirement that meets the needs of senior people in every aspect, including physical health and mental wellbeing. Some of the key requirements for the retirement city are state-of-the-art physical and social infrastructure, healthcare facilities and wellness center as well as easy availability of daily needs. Two sites have been selected for the project- a 125 acres site in the area of Rose belle and a 125-acre plot in Haute Rive.

The deadline to submit the responses is September 30, 2021. More information about this business opportunity can be found here.
