The Regional Municipality of Halton and the Town of Halton Hills has issued a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) seeking a developer for the Government-Assisted rental housing at 17 Guelph Street, Georgetown in Halton Region.
The selected private partner will design, finance, build, operate and maintain (DBFOM) a total of 14 rental units. The project involves the intent to adopt an equivalent industry standard such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold/platinum, Net-zero certification, passive house, etc. The duration of construction works is 2 years and is expected to commence on or before December 31, 2022.
