Rural Power Company Limited in Bangladesh has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) seeking a private partner to enter into a joint venture (JV) for the implementation of the Gazaria solar PV plant. Located in Munshiganj, the plant will have the capacity to produce 50 MW of electricity.

The JV partner will be responsible for the provision of the following tasks:

1. Arrange the Debt Financing for the Project;
2. Detailed Feasibility Study including Electrical Interconnection Facility;
3. Selection of Owner’s Engineer and EPC Contractor;
4. Generation, Operation, and Maintenance of the Facility;
5. Sales of Energy from the Project;
6. Any other works as mutually agreed at the time of finalization of the JV Agreement.
