RFEOI launched for eight Saudi port concession PPP project

The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) in cooperation with National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP) in Saudi Arabia has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) seeking a private partner for the provision of marine services at eight commercial and industrial ports located across Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The eight ports included in the concession are Yanbu Commercial Port, King Fahad Industrial Port in Yanbu, Jeddah Islamic Port, Jazan Port, Ras Al Khair Port, King Fahad Industrial port in Jubail, Jubail Commercial Port and King Abdulaziz Port. The private partner will be responsible for the provision of basic marine services such as anchorage, pilotage, towage, berthing and unberthing, and mooring as well as additional services such as pollution control, firefighting, etc. Following the EOI phase, the authority will issue Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to all interested participants.
