The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) seeking a private partner for the 100 MW wind farm in the Qorao’zak district of Karakalpakstan. The project site is located at 90 km southeast of Nukus city.
The project will be developed under the 3 GW wind power program. The authority also intends to develop the broader area with a total wind power capacity of 300 MW, with a subsequent tender aimed at procuring the remaining 200 MW.
