International Finance Corporation (IFC) has issued two requests for expression of interest seeking technical consultants to conduct engineering studies for the road projects in Brazil. The IFC is considering to appoint a lead advisor to structure and promote a new Roads Concession Program (the Project) for the following foreseen interventions: rehabilitation, pavement, implementation, maintenance, and duplication of at least 3 transactions contemplating road systems located in Brazil.
The consultants will be responsible for the development of a pre-feasibility assessment of the referred stretches; advise on the optimal solution regarding the number and structure/composition of the lots to be tendered; assess the current conditions of the referred road systems, estimating the necessary investments and operational costs for the works and services interventions; produce alignment plants, output specification for the entire road, functional/feasibility-level engineering studies for stretches subject to expansion work and support bidding stage.
The deadline to submit the interest is July 23, 2019.
