RFEOI issued seeking private developer for office space project in Melbourne

The City of Melbourne in Australia has issued an expression of interest (EOI) seeking commercial organizations (individual or consortia)  for the provision of 15,000m-20,000m NLA of office accommodation for City of Melbourne staff by 2024.

The authority will consider a variety of delivery mechanisms including concession, sale and leaseback, land swap or other innovative solutions. Office accommodation must be within close proximity of the Melbourne Town Hall and options could include:

i. Delivery od a new Council House 1 building aligned with the existing Bourke Street Print Redevelopment scheme;

ii. Delivery of an alternative scheme on Council freehold site/s in Bourke and Little Collins Streets;

iii. Any other innovative options that meet the City of Melbourne's office accommodation objectives and policies.
