RFEOI issued for transmission line PPP in Angola

The Government of Angola has launched a request for expression of interest seeking a technical consultant to carry out the Gove-Menongue Transmission Project Feasibility Study.

The power transmission line between Gove Dam and Menongue will expand the Angolan national grid in Cuando Cubango Province. The project is part of Energy Sector Efficiency and Expansion Programme Phase I (ESEEPI), which is being financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB). The consultant will carry out a complete feasibility study for the transmission project up to the bankable stage including techno-economic studies, an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), and a Resettlement Action Plan (RAP).
