The World Bank Group has issued a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) seeking consultant for solar photovoltaic mini-grid public-private partnership. The consultant will prepare a pre-feasibility study (PFS) for the project which will include strategic, economic, commercial, financial, legal, social, environmental, affordability and value for money factors.

The PFS will provide an assessment of the likely overall viability of the PPP project, whether a PPP solution should be pursued, and what form of PPP should be implemented.

The consultant will also engage actively with government agencies and stakeholders to obtain and generate data, information and stakeholder feedback required to prepare assessments. A learning-by-doing approach will be employed to develop the capacity of government staff and stakeholders while strengthening PPP systems.

The deadline to submit the response is November 7, 2019.
