The Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources (MERNNR) in Ecuador has extended the deadline to submit the interest for the Combined Cycle Block plant concession.
The selected private partner will be responsible for the development of a 400 MW capacity natural gas-fueled power generation plant as well as its corresponding associated transmission system up to the point of connection to the National Transmission System. The project was planned under Electricity Master Plan (PME) 2018 – 2027.
