Malaysia’s transport ministry has announced to revisit of the high-speed railway (HSR) project connecting Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
The project was approved in 2016, but Malaysia halted it in 2018 due to financial issues. In January 2021, the project was unmistakably shelved. 2026 was the projected completion date for the 350 km train project. It was anticipated that the 6.5-hour journey from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore would take just 90 minutes.
