Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Metrolinx have issued Requests for Proposals (RFP) for two major works packages for the Ontario Line: Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations and the Elevated Guideway and Stations contracts in Canada.
Six teams have been shortlisted and invited to bid on the packages, which are being delivered using a Progressive Design-Build delivery model. The following teams and their prime team members were invited to respond to the RFPs:
1. Pape Tunnel and Underground stations
2. Pape North Connect
3. Trillium Subway Partners
4. Rail Connect Partnership
5. Transit Expansion North
6. Trillium Guideway Partners
IO and Metrolinx will assess the proposals and the highest-ranked team for each project will cooperate with Metrolinx during a Development Phase, scheduled to commence in 2024. After the Development Phase, Metrolinx may choose to sign a contract with the winning team.
